Corley to Speak at University Worship Dec. 1

November 30, 1995

Baylor University will host the December all-university worship service at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 1, at Seventh and James Baptist Church.
Dr. Bruce Corley, professor of Christian scriptures at the George W. Truett Theological Seminary, will speak about "What Difference Does Christmas Make?" in reference to Acts 3:1-10.
Bill Austin, Baylor chaplain, will give the call to worship, and Winfred Moore, visiting distinguished professor, will give the invocation. Other participants will include Bradley Welch, who will play the organ; Cara Coppolo, who will sing a solo; Paul Saik, who will conduct "O Come, O Come Emanuel," and Wanda Raley-Pittman, who will read scripture from Luke 1:46-55.
Corley began teaching at Truett this summer. In the spring, he will teach "Christian Scriptures," "Text and Communication," and "New Testament Greek."
The university worship service takes place on the first Friday of each month and is sponsored by the Chaplain's Office. Anyone interested may attend.
