Speaker to Focus on Hunger Issues Nov. 13

Pat Bailey, social service director at the Waco Housing Authority, will speak about her experiences at the Waco Housing Authority at 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 13, during Chapel-Forum in Waco Hall at Baylor University.
Bailey's speech is part of Hunger Awareness Week at Baylor, scheduled for Nov. 13-17, and is sponsored by the Baptist Student Ministries, and several other activities are planned.
Other activities for the week include a banquet at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 13, at the Zachariah and Elizabeth BoBo Baptist Student Center. Jimmy Dorrell, founder of Mission Waco, will speak at the event.
A "Hunger Issues Seminar" will be held at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Baines-Fentress Room of the Bill Daniel Student Center. Dr. Sarah Alexander, assistant professor of environmental studies at Baylor, and Dr. Tim McCall, a missionary doctor in Nigeria, will discuss hunger related issues at this seminar.
Information tables will be in all campus cafeterias on Monday and Thursday, and Love Loaves - loaf-shaped coin banks - will be picked up from residence halls on Friday, Nov. 17.
