Baylor Law School Grads to Receive Degrees Nov. 11

Twelve graduates of Baylor University School of Law are scheduled to receive juris doctor degrees during commencement ceremonies at 10 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 11, in the Barfield Drawing Room of the Bill Daniel Student Center.
Keynote speaker will be Jack Welch, a Marlin attorney and father-in-law of Brenda Welch, one of the graduates. A 1954 Baylor law graduate, he was selected by the graduating class to deliver the commencement address.
The diplomas will be presented by Bradley J.B. Toben, law school dean and the Gov. Bill and Vara Faye Daniel Professor of Law, and Leah W. Jackson, associate professor of law and associate dean of the law school.
The invocation will be given by Melissa A. Essary, associate professor of law, and the graduates will be hooded by Louis S. Muldrow, the Leon Jaworski Professor of Practice and Procedural Law, and David M. Guinn, the Louise L. Morrison Professor of Constitutional Law and Master Teacher.
After the ceremony, a reception for the graduates and their guests will be hosted by the Baylor Law Alumni Association in the White-Beckham Room at the Bill Daniel Student Center.
