Baylor to Host High School Juniors and Seniors Nov. 11

November 2, 1995

The Baylor University Office of Recruitment and the Kappa Omega Tau (KOT) service fraternity will host more than 800 high school students and their parents Saturday, Nov. 11, in the Ferrell Center and the Baylor campus during Fall Premiere.
A mixer will be held from 7:30-9 p.m. Friday, Nov. 10, on the fifth floor of the Cashion Building in the Hankamer School of Business. Baylor students, faculty, administrators and Office of Recruitment staff will be present.
The purpose of Fall Premiere is to allow students interested in Baylor an opportunity to visit the campus and talk with Baylor faculty, administrators and students. Students and their parents will be given a tour of the campus and will participate in academic orientation sessions.
Baylor President Robert B. Sloan Jr. and Dr. William D. Hillis, vice president for student life, will welcome the students and their parents. A panel discussion is also scheduled for parents with members of the Baylor staff, and prospective students will be able to participate in an activities fair which will feature various student organizations presenting extracurricular activities available at Baylor. A financial aid presentation will also be given and the day will end with a presentation of "Sing," the university's student-led dramatical talent show.
All morning activities will be held at the Ferrell Center. All activities after lunch will be held at several locations across the campus.
