Baylor Fall Semester to Begin Aug. 28

School preparation activities at Baylor University such as Welcome Week, financial settlement and residence hall openings will be from Aug. 21-26, with classes beginning Aug. 28.
Baylor residence halls will open at 9 a.m. Aug. 21.
Advisement, registration and financial settlement for new freshmen and transfer students will be Aug. 22 in Russell Gym. Open dates for registration will be Aug. 23-25, with schedule changes and financial settlement in Russell Gym. Registration and financial settlement for graduate students is set for Aug. 24, also in Russell Gym.
The Baylor tradition of Welcome Week will begin Aug. 23 and continue through Aug. 26. First held in 1979, Welcome Week is Baylor's way of welcoming incoming freshmen and transfers with days of fun-filled activities.
