Statement From Baylor Men's Basketball Coach Dave Bliss

Baylor Head Men's Basketball Coach Dave Bliss released the following statement to the media June 26 regarding the disappearance of Patrick Dennehy:

I'm going to make a short statement. Our prayers and concerns are with Patrick, his family, friends and teammates. The uncertainty surrounding Patrick has made this a tough time for Baylor University and our basketball program. I appreciate the media respecting our players' privacy as we deal with this situation.

All I know is that a family member is missing. We're concerned and prayerful and doing everything we can to help.

We are doing everything we can to assist the authorities in their investigation. I'd like to join with the Waco Police Department, Baylor Public Safety and the McLennan County Sheriff's Department in encouraging anyone with information regarding Patrick to contact the authorities.
