Heart of Texas Community Tailgate Party Scheduled April 24

Mark your calendar for the annual Heart of Texas Community Tailgate Party, featuring free food, fun and baseball for families in Central Texas, on Saturday, April 24, at Baylor Ballpark.

The Heart of Texas Community Tailgate will begin at 1 p.m. with free inflatables, carnival games and lunch at Baylor Ballpark. The event also will include free general admission tickets, while supplies last, to the Baylor baseball game. At 3 p.m., the Baylor Bears take on the University of Nebraska Cornhuskers in a Big 12 Conference matchup.

"Baylor University appreciates Central Texans for their support, and the Community Tailgate is another way we can welcome friends and neighbors to campus for a day of food and fun," said Jana L. Hixson, director of community relations at Baylor.
