Baylor University has enrolled a total of 12,815 students for the spring 2004 semester, according to official 12th-day enrollment statistics compiled by the Office of the Registrar.
The enrollment represents a decrease of 426 students from the spring 2003 semester when 13,241 students were enrolled. The decline is largely attributed to smaller entering classes in each of the last two fall semesters and a larger graduating class in December 2003.
The spring semester's enrollment consists of 10,728 undergraduates; 1,202 graduate students; 353 students in George W. Truett Theological Seminary; and 419 students in Baylor Law School. At the U.S. Army Academy of Health Sciences in San Antonio, where Baylor has affiliated degree programs in physical therapy and health care administration, 113 students are enrolled.
