Tickets for Baylor University's All University Sing competition, scheduled for Feb. 19-21 and Feb. 26-28 at Waco Hall, will go on sale this week at the Bill Daniel Student Center Ticket Office.
Tickets will be available for Baylor students, beginning at 6 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 22, and to the general public at 9 a.m. Friday, Jan. 23. Ticket prices are $14, $16 and $18 for students, faculty and staff, and $15, $17.50 and $20 for the general public. This year, Baylor has designated Feb. 26 as Community Night, with special prices at $12, $14 and $16 for that night's performances.
The ticket office is located on the first floor of the Bill Daniel Student Center on the Baylor campus. Tickets also can be ordered by phone at (254) 710-3210.
One of Baylor's premier traditions, All University Sing showcases the extraordinary musical, theatrical and dancing abilities more than 22 student groups, who will perform this year in 17 Broadway-style acts. On the final night of performances, judges will award first, second and third places to the winning acts. In addition to the three winning acts, five other groups will be invited to perform at Homecoming's Pigskin Revue.
Last year, Baylor celebrated Sing's golden anniversary with the release of a commemorative book and DVD, both featuring a behind-the-scenes look at 50 years of the student-run musical production. Both are still available for purchase by calling the department of student activities at (254) 710-2371. The cost of the book is $20, with the DVD selling for $25.
