Lecture To Focus On Career In Foreign Service

Pamela Tremont, a Baylor University alumna and first secretary in the political-military affairs section at the United States Embassy in Ankara, Turkey, will speak on "Life in the Foreign Service" at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 7, in room 116 at the Draper Academic Building. The lecture is free and open to the public.
Tremont holds bachelor's and master's degrees in international relations/political science from Baylor. She joined the foreign service in January 1992, serving at the U.S. consulate in Calgary, Canada. She also has served in the U.S. Embassy in Port Louis, Mauritius. In August 2001, she began her service in Turkey.
