Baylor Welcomes March Chapel Speakers

Baylor University's department of spiritual life hosts chapel speakers every Monday and Wednesday at 9:05 a.m., 10:15 a.m. and 11:15 a.m. in Waco Hall on the Baylor campus. This March, students will be inspired by faith-based entrepreneurs, performers, pastors and Baylor alumni.
March 2 - Kyle Matthews is one of Christian music's most prolific songwriters. He has written well know songs such at "If You Want Me To," by Ginny Owens, and "One and the Same," by Cece Winans.
March 4 - International Justice Missions is a human rights agency that secures justice for victims of slavery, sexual exploitation and other forms of violent oppression.
March 16 - Carlos Oscar is a highly sought-after comedic artist. Known for his charming, witty and energetic stage persona, he jokes most often about the humorous side of his family, society and everyday mishaps.
March 18 - Dr. Beth Newman is a professor of Theology and Ethics at the Baptist Theological Seminary of Richmond. In addition to co-authoring the Baptist Manifesto, she writes bi-weekly columns for the Association Baptist Press. She has published numerous articles in the theology and ethics. Currently, Newman works for the board of Ekklesia Project, which brings people form different Christian traditions together.
March 23 - Facing our Prejudice. Christians are often blind to their blindness. When we cannot see our own bigotry, we wound the world. This chapel will explore how to move beyond our small mindedness.
March - 25 Dr. Dub Oliver joined Baylor as a director of student activities in 1992 and became dean for Student Development in 2001. Oliver was name Vice President for Student Life on July 6, 2006. As vice president, he provides leadership to the 137 staff members of student life in the areas of campus life, student learning and engagement, and spiritual life.
March 30 - The Annie Moses Band a family outfit, whose members include parents, Bill and Robin Wolaver and their children, Annie, Alex, Benjamen, Gretchen, Camille and Jeremiah, whose ages range from ten to 24. They combine all their attributes: love for one another, prodigious talent and a curiosity that delves into the questions of life.
