She also serves as an adjunct faculty member in the University of Texas at San Antonio Social Work Program and the Texas State University School of Social Work. Hansen has been the project director for several grants, including one from the Texas Cancer Council on developing cancer prevention materials for low-income, minority populations.

The workshop will provide social work practitioners with the opportunity to earn .3 credit continuing education hours in ethics.

The workshop is open to the public. Admission is $20 for Baylor Field Operators and $40 for community practitioners, which includes the cost of the CE credit fee. Admission is free for Baylor faculty and students, but registration is required.
