All three programs, titled "It's ShowTime," will be led by the group's director, Dr. Leta Horan, who also serves as pianist. The choreography is designed by Jerry MacLauchlin.
The concerts will open with highlights from Richard Rodgers' musicals, including Oklahoma, State Fair, Carousel, South Pacific and The Sound of Music.
Other selections include a set called "Disney Ditties," featuring Walt Disney's "Zip A Dee Doo Dah" from Song of the South, "Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo" from Cinderella, "No Strings" from Pinocchio and "Chim Chim Chiree" and "Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious" from Mary Poppins.
Also to be heard will be a medley from Meredith Willson's "The Music Man," a pair of bluegrass-influenced pieces and an operetta from such hits as The Desert Song, The Student Prince, Naughty Marietta, The Mikado and The Merry Widow.
Tickets for the concerts are available at the theater department box office. Friday and Saturday night reserved tickets are priced at $8. There is no reserved seating for the Sunday matinée, and tickets for that performance are priced at $6. The ticket office number is 710-1865.
