Baylor's Truett Seminary Hosts Hispanic Preaching Conference March 30-31

Baylor University's George W. Truett Theological Seminary will host nearly 200 pastors and laypeople who minister in Hispanic churches during the annual Hispanic Preaching Conference March 30-31 at Truett Seminary.

The conference will include sessions on biblical interpretation, sermon preparation, practical ministry, praise and worship, pastors and their families, and women and ministry. The sessions will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. on Friday and from 8:15 to 9:15 a.m., 9:25 to 10:25 a.m. and 10:35 to 11:35 a.m. on Saturday.

Following the sessions, participants will gather in the Powell Chapel for a general session and worship service, led by Paul W. Powell, dean of Truett Seminary, and Mario Alberto Gonzalez, pastor of Primera Iglesia Bautista, El Paso. The general session will begin at 7:15 p.m. on Friday and 11:45 a.m. on Saturday.

? Baldemar Borrego, pastor of Nuevo Esperanza, Wichita Falls, and president of the Hispanic Baptist Convention
? Rhoda Sanchez, pastor's wife, North Dallas Family Church
