After two weekends of competition, the winners of Baylor University's All University Sing were announced on Saturday, Feb. 24, during an awards ceremony on the Waco Hall stage. The top eight acts were presented invitations to perform in Baylor's Pigskin Revue during Homecoming weekend in November.

This year, in a rare occurrence, a tie for first place was awarded to the women of Delta Delta Delta and the men of Kappa Sigma. Tri Delta's theme, "It's a Small World," showcased life from a bug's perspective while Kappa Sigma's theme, "Takin' out the Trash," followed a group of garbage workers. Because there was a tie for first place, there was no second place awarded. Third place was given to Kappa Kappa Gamma's schoolhouse act titled "Dear Old Golden Rule Days."

The remaining five Pigskin Revue invitations were awarded to Alpha Tau Omega, Chi Omega, Phi Gamma Delta, Phi Kappa Chi and Sing Alliance.

All University Sing featured 19 acts that were judged on their levels of creativity, entertainment value, choreography, musical quality and theme development. The judges, who came from across the state of Texas, were selected on the basis of their backgrounds in vocal performance, dance, theater or student services.

In addition, the winners of the annual People's Choice Awards were announced at the awards ceremony. Best backdrop and theme development were awarded to Sing Alliance; best musical selection was awarded to Kappa Alpha Theta; best choreography and costumes were awarded to Delta Delta Delta; and best vocal performance went to Phi Kappa Chi. Audience members who attended the first weekend of performances were able to vote for the awards.
