Baylor Mourns Death of Adjunct Professor

Ruby Olar, an adjunct professor of ballroom dance at Baylor University, was found dead just after 4 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 14, in the Marrs McLean Gym dance studio. Baylor public safety officials say that there was no sign of foul play.

Olar was a 1970 graduate of Columbia University with a degree in recreation. At Baylor, he was an instructor of social dance and Tai Chi in the department of health, human performance and recreation.

He is survived by his wife, Sherry.

Funeral arrangements are pending with Bellmead Funeral Home.
