Baylor Holds Special Hours for Thanksgiving Holiday

In observance of the Thanksgiving holiday, Baylor University will not hold classes and administrative offices will be closed Wednesday, Nov. 22, through Friday, Nov. 24. Several university facilities will have modified hours during the week.

All residence halls will close at 9 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 22, and will reopen at 1 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 26. The Arbors, Baylor Plaza and the North Village Residential Community will remain open.

The Moody Memorial and Jesse H. Jones libraries will be open from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 21, and from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m Wednesday, Nov. 22. The libraries will be closed Thursday, Nov. 23, and Friday, Nov. 24. The libraries will reopen from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 25, and will resume normal hours Sunday, Nov. 26.

Baylor Dining Services will be changing their usual hours for the holiday schedule. Collins and Memorial Cafeterias will close at 2 p.m. and Penland Cafeteria will close at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 21. All cafeterias will reopen for normal hours Monday, Nov. 27.

Chili's Too @ BU and Starbucks in the Dutton Avenue Parking Facility will be closed 9 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 22, through Saturday, Nov. 25. Starbucks will serve customers from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Chili's Too will operate 10:45 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 25.

The lower and first floors of the Bill Daniel Student Center will be open from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 21, and the second and third floors will be open 7 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. The entire building will be closed from Wednesday, Nov. 22, to Friday, Nov. 24. On Saturday, Nov. 25, the lower and first floors will be open from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. and the second and third floors will be closed.

The mail center will hold normal business hours Tuesday, Nov. 22, for incoming mail and will be closed for both incoming and outgoing mail Nov. 23 and Nov. 24.

The McLane Student Life Center (SLC) will be open from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 21. The SLC will be closed Wednesday through Saturday and will reopen at 4 p.m. until midnight Sunday, Nov. 26.

The Baylor Bookstore will operate from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 20, and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 21. The bookstore will be closed from Wednesday, Nov. 22, to Sunday, Nov. 26.

The Wiethorn Visitors' Center will be closed Wednesday, Nov. 22, to Saturday, Nov. 25.

The Mayborn Museum will close at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 22, and will reopen Friday, Nov. 24, at 10 a.m.
