Viennese Pianists To Perform At Baylor Oct. 1

The Vienna International Piano Duo will present a recital at Baylor University on Tuesday, Oct. 1, at 7:30 p.m. in Roxy Grove Hall. The piano duo is composed of Krassimira Jordan and Wolfgang Watzinger, who have performed together in Europe, Asia and North America.
The program will include music of Mozart, Reger, Infante and Ravel.
The Vienna International Piano Duo will open the recital with the Fantasie in F minor, K. 608, by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart followed by a piece by German composer Max Reger, his Variations and Fugue on a Theme by Beethoven.
Spanish composer Manuel Infante's Andalusian Dances will follow. This work is structured in three movements, marked "Ritmo," "Sentimiento" and "Gracia (Il Vito)."
Closing the program will be the original two-piano version of Valse by Maurice Ravel.
Jordan serves as professor of piano and Artist-in-Residence at Baylor. Watzinger is professor of piano at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna.
