Free Shuttle Service Available To Balloon Glow, Concert Site

Because of limited parking, a free shuttle service will be available for Baylor University students, faculty and staff and those in the Central Texas community, who are planning to attend the balloon glow and free concert Friday, Aug. 30, in the parking lot of the Ferrell Center.
The shuttle service will run from 6 to 11:30 p.m. at the following locations:

Bus #1
1. Baylor Avenue and Eighth Street, near Dawson and Collins residence halls
2. Dutton Avenue, near North Russell Residence Hall
3. Bagby Avenue near Big Daddy's Restaurant, between Fifth and Eighth streets

Bus #2
4. Speight Avenue parking garage at Speight & Fourth Street
5. McLane Student Life Center on Speight Avenue
6. Between the McLane Student Life Center and the Speight Avenue parking garage

All shuttle stops will be marked with Balloon Glow signs. Buses also will have Balloon Glow signs in their windows.
Gates open at 6 p.m. with local Christian band Sign of Jonah playing at 6:30 p.m., followed by top Christian music act Avalon, who will take the stage at 8 and 9:30 p.m. The Balloon Glow, a highlight of the four-day North American Balloon Association's National competition in Waco, will take place at approximately 9:15 p.m.
Lawn chairs and blankets are welcome, however coolers are not permitted. Food and drinks will be available for purchase.
