Baylor University fashion merchandising students will host their annual spring style show from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday, April 29, at the Barfield Drawing Room.

The show is a departmental requirement for fashion merchandising majors taking the visual marketing course. They are responsible for the public relations, ticket sales, commentary, programs and training of models.
Incorporating the theme "Alice in Fashionland," senior fashion design students will showcase their designs.

"I'm really excited about the show," said sophomore Jessie Hill, a fashion design major. "It's inspiring and amazing to see all the collections the girls have put together."

Select students like junior Lijia Zevada, a fashion merchandising major from Waco, will be modeling in the show.

"I'm looking forward to modeling, but my favorite part of the show is just looking at the designs and seeing how the girls have finished the process," said Zevada.
