Baylor University To Change Hours For Easter Holiday

In observance of the Easter holidays, Baylor University will not hold classes April 14 and April 17 and several university departments and buildings will have special hours.

All administrative offices and the Wiethorn Visitors Center will close at 5 p.m. Thursday and will reopen at 8 a.m. Tuesday, April 18.

The Bill Daniel Student Center will close Thursday at 5:15 p.m. The first floor will remain open Friday, Saturday and Monday from 6:30 a.m. until 1 a.m. It will be open on Sunday at 2 p.m. Campus mailboxes will be accessible all weekend. All retail and food services in the SUB will close. The Starbucks in the Dutton parking garage will close at 8 p.m. Thursday and all day Sunday, but will otherwise have normal operating hours.

Moody Memorial Library and Jesse H. Jones libraries will close Thursday at 5 p.m. and will be open Monday, April 17, from 1 a.m. to 1 a.m. Normal library hours will resume Tuesday, April 18. Armstrong Browning library will close at 5 p.m. Thursday and reopen at 9 a.m. Tuesday.

The McLane Student Center (SLC) will close at 8 p.m. Thursday and open again at 4 p.m. Monday, April 17.

The Baylor Bookstore will close at 5:30 Thursday and resume regular hours of 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

The dorms will remain open for the entire weekend.
