Christian writer Brennan Manning will address Baylor University students during Chapel at 10 and 11 a.m. Monday, April 15, in Waco Hall.
Manning, who graduated from St. Francis College with a major in philosophy and a minor in Latin, says that he entered into an "intimate and heartfelt relationship with Jesus" in 1956. He was ordained to the Franciscan Priesthood in 1963.
After overcoming a battle with alcoholism, Manning began writing and speaking nationwide about his experiences of the unconditional love of God.
Manning and his wife, Roslyn, live in New Orleans.
