CHI'S annual bunny drive began March 27 and will continue through April 7. Collected bunnies will be distributed among local charities such as the Family Abuse Center, Hillcrest Baptist Medical Center, the Methodist Children's Home and the Providence Healthcare System. Donated bunnies will be given to children and the elderly who might be alone on Easter.

The collection of new stuffed bunnies with attached tags is taking place with collection boxes in the Bill Daniel Student Center, Bobo Baptist Student Center, lobbies of all residence halls, George W. Truett Theological Seminary, North Village Community Center and all campus libraries.

The CHI'S bunny drive has been a CHI'S tradition since 2002. Last year's goal was 700 bunnies, and according to the CHI'S website, this year's goal is 1,000 bunnies. The student organization that donates the most bunnies will receive a $100 donation to the organization's philanthropy of choice.
