One of the nation's most innovative theater groups, the A.D. Players, will perform in Chapel at 10 and 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 25, in Waco Hall on the Baylor University campus. Five Baylor graduates are part of this troupe that offers quality entertainment and programming.
The troupe was the first Houston company to offer year-round children's theater. More than 20,000 children and adults have experienced the A.D. Players' positive alternative to current media trends.
Additionally, the A.D. Players serve the community through innovative programs, such as their National Touring Series, S.T.O.P. (Social Theater Overcoming Problems), Act For Children, a literacy program, and an intern program.
The A.D. Players seek to expand service capabilities and audiences served, and to continue providing professional, quality main stage and children's shows that present positive entertainment, values, truth and hope. They also hope to expand the community effort to educate school children and youth on literacy, cultural arts, social awareness and health through on-site productions.
