Charles Marsh To Speak At Baylor Feb. 13

Charles Marsh, associate professor of religious studies at the University of Virginia, will speak to Baylor University students during Chapel at 10 and 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 13, in Waco Hall.
Marsh is director of the Project on Lived Theology at the University of Virginia and author of God's Long Summer: Stories of Faith and Civil Rights. His book, The Last Days: A Son's Story of Sin and Segregation at the Dawn of A New South, is a memoir of small town Southern life caught up in the whirlwind of the Civil Rights movement and its fallout. He will hold a round table discussion of this book at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 12, on the 5th floor of the Cashion Academic Center in the Hankamer School of Business. He will give a lecture that evening at 7:30 p.m. also on the 5th floor of Cashion.
