Baylor University's Center for Community Learning and Enrichment will continue its popular Super Saturday educational programs on Saturday, Feb. 11, with a performance by KIDPROV!

The improvisational comedy group will perform from 9 a.m. to noon in Bennett Auditorium on the Baylor campus. The program is designed for kids in kindergarten through 12th grade.

The cost to attend Super Saturday is $10 per child. Parents also will need to sign a release form before their child can attend Super Saturday. Forms are available at the Center for Community Learning and Enrichment in the Baylor School of Education or at the door on Saturday. For more information, call the center at (254) 710-2171.

KIDPROV was formed in 1992 as a response to the need for an improvisational comedy troupe that could educate as well as entertain. Brad Newton, a former school teacher, had long known the potential of improvisation as a tool for learning. In Creativity in Action, creative thinking is engaged through improvisational activities that teach students to see the creative possibilities contained in the world around them. The KIDPROV actors demonstrate that fluency, flexibility, originality and elaboration are the keys to accessing the creative process.
