Most Baylor Offices Closed for Christmas, New Year's Holidays

Baylor University offices and campus facilities will vary their normal operating hours during the Christmas and New Year's holidays. University administrative offices, with the exception of the development office and other essential services, will be closed for the Christmas break Dec. 26-Jan. 2.

The development office will be staffed Dec. 27-30 for those who wish to make year-end contributions to the university. The office can be reached at (254) 710-2561. Moody Memorial Library and Jesse H. Jones Library began holiday hours on Dec. 14. The libraries will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Dec.19-23, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Dec. 27-30, and 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Jan. 3-6. The libraries will be closed Dec. 24-26 for the Christmas holidays, Dec. 31-Jan. 2 for the New Years holidays, and Jan. 7-8, before resuming normal operating hours on Monday, Jan. 9.

Baylor's special collections libraries also will be closed for the holidays. Armstrong Browning Library and the Baylor Collection of Political Materials in the Poage Legislative Library will be closed from Dec. 24-Jan. 2. The Texas Collection will be closed Dec. 23-Jan. 2. All special collections will resume normal operating hours on Jan. 3.

The Baylor Law Library will be closed from Dec. 22-26 and Dec. 30-Jan. 2. The law library will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Dec. 27-29 and Jan. 3, and will resume normal operating hours on Jan. 4.

Baylor residence halls are closed and will re-open on Jan. 4. All offices in the Bill Daniel Student Center will be closed Dec. 26-Jan. 3, The first floor of the BDSC will remain open during the holidays.

With the exception of the pool, the McLane Student Life Center (SLC) will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Dec. 19-23 and closed Dec. 24-Jan. 2. The SLC will be open 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Jan. 3-6, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Jan. 7, and 4 p.m. to midnight on Jan. 8, before resuming normal operating hours on Monday, Jan. 9.

The Mayborn Museum Complex will be open throughout the holidays, closed only on Dec. 24-25 and Jan. 1.

The Baylor Pharmacy will be closed from Dec. 16-Jan. 2, re-opening at 8 a.m. Jan. 3. The Baylor Bookstore will be closed Dec. 24-26 and Dec. 31-Jan. 2.

The Wiethorn Visitor's Center will be closed from Dec. 26 through Jan. 2.
