Author/Artists Exhibit To Open Oct. 9

Fifty-one Baylor University faculty and staff members will be featured in the sixth annual "Baylor Authors and Artists at Work" exhibit, which opens Tuesday, Oct. 9, in the foyer of Moody Memorial Library. The exhibit will run through Nov. 25.
Sponsored by the Baylor University Libraries, the exhibit features works by Baylor faculty and staff who have written or edited books from October 2000 through September 2001 and fine arts faculty who have exhibited in a juried show or commercially recorded works during the same time period. The books, music and art works, along with photographs of the author or artist and some personal comments on the works, will be on display.
A reception honoring exhibitors and new Baylor faculty members will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 9, in the foyer of Moody Library.
Moody Library is open from 7 a.m. to 1 a.m. Monday through Thursday, 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday, 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday and 2 p.m. to 1 a.m. Sunday.
