Skit Guys To Speak at Chapel Sept. 7

September 6, 2005

Tommy Woodard and Eddie James, also known as the "Skit Guys," will speak at Baylor University during chapel services at 10 and 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 7, in Waco Hall.
The Skit Guys have made a name for themselves with their performance comedy, a blend of improvisational comedy and drama, infused with a modern look at Scripture.
Woodard and James have been friends since they attended high school in Edmond, Okla., and share a love to communicate God's Word in unconventional ways using drama, teaching and comedy. They have been working together for more than 10 years and have written many plays and skits covering a wide range of topics.
Woodard and James say their purpose is to "encourage others to develop a vital love relationship with Jesus Christ."
"They see our love for Christ, our joy for life and our friendship. People enjoy seeing two high school buddies having the time of their life while sharing the truth of God's word without any compromising," the duo writes on their web site.
