Fiesta On The River To Be Held March 29

The Baylor University Executive Association of Residents (B.E.A.R.) will hold its annual Fiesta on the River from 6 to10 p.m. Thursday, March 29, in Minglewood Bowl and along the Baylor Creek. Approximately 40 student organizations will participate in this traditional event, which began in 1988 and evokes San Antonio's century-old Fiesta.
Fiesta on the River will include an array of booths with different activities including a traditional Velcro wall, legacy wall and a children's game area.
Live entertainment for the evening will be provided by local bands, including the Backporch Band and Tribe of America which consists of Baylor students. The bands will perform until 11 p.m.
Fiesta also will include authentic Mexican food, fresh baked goods and many other food items.
In case of rain, the event will be held Tuesday, April 3.
