Baylor Theatre To Present Shakespeare Classic April 3-11

Baylor Theatre will present the classic Shakespearean comedy of errors "The Two Gentlemen of Verona" April 3 to 11 in the Mabee Theater at the Hooper-Schaefer Fine Arts Center. Curtain times are 7:30 p.m. April 3-7 and April 9-11 with a matinee performance scheduled for 2:30 p.m. April 8.
One of Shakespeare's earliest plays, "The Two Gentlemen of Verona" deals with best friends Valentine and Proteus who must overcome separation, betrayal, parental obstacles, mistaken identities, foolish servants and would-be-suitors in order to obtain a happy ending with the women they love.
The play will feature Justin Martindale, a junior from San Antonio, as Valentine; Hunter Wood, a sophomore from Dallas, as Proteus; Ginny O'Quinn, a sophomore from Houston, as Julia; and Elizabeth Davis, a sophomore from Channing, Texas, as Silvia. Lisa Denman will serve as director.
