New Tennis Facilities

Baylor is scheduled to host the 2001 Big 12 Conference Championships and the facility will be designed to hold such a major competition. This will be the finest tennis facility in the Big 12 and one of the best in the country.
The facility will feature six outdoor and six indoor courts.
Both the men's and women's teams will have locker rooms and there will be additional locker rooms for visiting teams. There will also be a training room and a strength and conditioning room to be used by Baylor's men's and women's tennis teams, the soccer team, the baseball team and the softball team. Both the men's and women's tennis coaching staffs will have offices in the new facility.
The indoor tennis facility will feature a tennis pro shop and an athletic department gift shop.
Construction should begin after the current season and be completed by next year's spring season.
