Christian Author To Speak At Chapel-Forum

WACO, Texas -- Baylor University will host Christian author Tony Campolo in Chapel-Forum at 10 and 11 a.m. Monday, April 3, in Waco Hall.
Campolo, a professor of sociology at Eastern College in Pennsylvania, is the author of 26 books including Is Jesus a Republican or a Democrat? and Twenty Hot Potatoes Christians Are Afraid to Touch. He also has a weekly television show, "Hashing It Out," on the Odyssey Network.
Campolo is founder and president of the Evangelical Association for the Promotion of Education, a ministry that serves at-risk youth in urban America and sponsors education and economic development programs in Third World countries. He also is an ordained minister and serves as associate pastor of the Mount Carmel Baptist Church in West Philadelphia.
Campolo and his wife, Peggy, have two children and four grandchildren.
