Baylor To Hold Annual Ring Ceremony March 16

The Baylor University Alumni Association will award class rings to seniors at 5 p.m. Thursday, March 16, in the Hughes-Dillard Alumni Center during the official class ring presentation.
Baylor President Robert B. Sloan Jr. will present the rings. Robert Reid, retired professor of history and Master Teacher at Baylor, will give a historical review of the ring emblems.
The Alumni Association began awarding an official university ring in 1995. Ten historical figures emblazon the ring. The figures include Pat Neff Hall, Burleson Quadrangle, the statue of Judge R.E.B. Baylor and the memorial lampposts.
Balfour produces the rings for Baylor. Balfour makes rings for the for Dallas Cowboys, the University of Notre Dame and Texas A&M.
