Humanities Grant Information Available at Sept. 27th Meeting

September 22, 1999

Baylor University and the Texas Ranger Hall of Fame will co-sponsor a public meeting on grant opportunities available from the Texas Council for the Humanities (TCH) from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 27, at John Knox Hall in the Ranger Hall of Fame.
The guest speaker will be Monte Youngs, the interim executive director of the Texas Council for the Humanities, a state-based agency under the National Endowment for the Humanities.
"This is a wonderful opportunity for humanities teachers, librarians, museums, churches, non-profit organizations and others to learn more about TCH grants, how to apply for them and how they can be used to fund public programs and conferences," said Dr. Thomas L. Charlton, professor of history and vice provost for research at Baylor.
