BGCT to Hold Church Musiconference at Baylor July 26-28

WACO, Texas -- The Baptist General Convention of Texas will hold the Church MusiConference July 26-28 at Baylor University.
The conference is open to those involved with church music ministry including music ministers, choir leaders and workers, pianists and organists. The conference usually hosts 600-700 people who come from churches throughout Texas and surrounding states.
During the conference, many different classes and workshops will be taught by clinicians from Texas and surrounding states. These classes will involve and discuss worship trends, music skills, piano and organ, children's choir, youth choir, senior adult choir, handbells and music ministry in general.
Each evening, the conference will feature a concert. Some musical guests include the Illinois All-State Youth Choir, the orchestra from First Baptist Church of Richardson and "The Sound," a contemporary Christian music group. There will also be several different soloists.
