Baylor Tennis Coach to Hold Two Camps This Summer

June 8, 1999

WACO, Texas -- Baylor University women's tennis head coach Dave Luedtke will hold two tennis camps June 13-18 and June 20-25.
Both tennis camps, taught by Luedtke and members of the Baylor men's and women's tennis teams and several high school tennis coaches, are open to students ages 10-18. The camps will take place at the Streich Tennis Courts across from Baylor's campus on University Parks Drive.
The camps will be geared to students of beginning, intermediate and advanced playing abilities. Heavy emphasis will be placed on mechanics, drilling, standpoints and other basics of tennis. In addition, students will learn more about strategy and goal setting. Students will have free time and other activities in the afternoon, and they will participate in competition phases at night.
The cost is $350 for overnight campers, which includes use of facilities, meals and lodging in Baylor dormitories and a camp T-shirt. The cost for day campers is $250, including all meals and a T-shirt.
