Bear Downs, an annual bicycle race on the Baylor University campus, will celebrate its 28th anniversary at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, April 22, on Fifth Street.
The race, sponsored by Student Foundation, is an annual competition open to Baylor students, faculty and staff. This year, 25 teams with four members each are signed up for the race. The 30-mile course runs through the heart of campus, starting and finishing on Fifth Street.
The first four teams to finish will receive cash prizes. The winning team receives $500, with the next three teams receiving $350, $200 and $150, respectively.
