Spring Premiere Set for April 17 at Baylor

April 14, 1999

The Baylor University office of admission services and Alpha Phi Omega, a national service fraternity, will host hundreds of high school students from across the country Saturday, April 17, during Spring Premiere.
The event allows juniors and seniors an opportunity to visit the Baylor campus. Seminars on topics, such as international and study abroad programs, multicultural opportunities, financial aid and a question-and-answer period for parents and students, will be held from 9:40 to 10:15 a.m. Special interest sessions will be held at 10:45 and 11:45 a.m.
After lunch, guests may tour the campus, visit the University Bookstore and visit a student activities fair.
Beginning at 2 p.m., students will attend the first of the two academic sessions of their choice presented by Baylor professors. The second session will begin at 3 p.m.
The afternoon's activities will conclude at 4 p.m. with a mini-performance of All-University Sing, a popular musical tradition at Baylor.
Students or families who arrive in Waco on the evening of April 16 may attend an informal mixer at 7:30 p.m. in the Barfield Drawing Room of the Bill Daniel Student Center.
