Baylor Theater to Present 'the Death of Zukasky' Nov. 10-15

November 6, 1998

Baylor Theater will present the slapstick comedy, The Death of Zukasky, Tuesday through Sunday, Nov. 10-15, in Theater 11 at the Hooper-Schaefer Fine Arts Center on the Baylor University campus. Curtain time is 7:30 p.m. Nov. 10-14 with a matinee scheduled for 2:30 p.m. Nov. 15.
Written by Richard Strand, the play centers around the office politics at Hellas Inc. as three employees skirmish with each other to succeed their late employer, Theodore Zukasky. According to director Eric Shephard, the physical comedy, with its on-stage fights, will remind the audience of old Marx Brothers films.
Cast members include Chrissy Huth, a Canyon Lake senior, Justin Jones, a Waco sophomore, and Brad Thomason, an Anthony, NM, sophomore. The Baylor production is graduate student Shephard's thesis production.
Tickets for the play are $8 and can be purchased at the theater box office. For more information, call the theater department at 710-1865.
