Pigskin Revue Showcases Top Eight All-University Acts

October 20, 1998

The 1998 Baylor University Homecoming Queen and her court will be announced at the opening show of Pigskin Revue at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 5, in Waco Hall.
The tradition of selecting a queen began in 1934 with Elaine Cross serving as the first "Homecoming Sweetheart." Currently, the queen is chosen from more than 50 nominees selected by various campus organizations.
Pigskin Revue, an annual fall showcase of the award-winning acts from the spring semester's All-University Sing, can also be seen at 7 p.m. and 10:15 p.m. Friday, Nov. 6, with an additional show at 10 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 7. "Pigskin features the top eight acts from All-University Sing," said Jeromy Barber, coordinator of special performances. Each act highlights a variety of song and dance prepared by different organizations. Kappa Omega Tau, Phi Kappa Chi, Chi Omega, Kappa Sigma and Sing Alliance are among other groups who will participate.
Tickets can be purchased at the Ticket Office by students for $8 and non-students $10. For ticket information, contact the Ticket Office at 710-3210.
