A leading scholarly journal published by Baylor University will be featured on a new website recently launched by PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), a global professional services organization.
The journal, Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice, has approximately 1,600 subscribers worldwide. Executive editor is Dr. D. Ray Bagby, associate professor of management and the Robert M. and Louise Rogers Professor of Entrepreneurship in the Hankamer School of Business. Managing editor is Sharon Johnson Bracken. Copy editor is Janet Burton.
The Baylor publication has been invited to participate in PwC's new on-line business journal, Executive Digest, which will showcase the most prominent business ideas available in print worldwide. Editors from PwC will select outstanding articles on business and financial topics from about 100 publications and excerpts of 1,000 words from each article will appear on-line.
The website has the potential to place the Baylor journal before a worldwide audience of executives, business journalists, researchers and students.
"We choose journals with ideas that are interesting and provocative," said Annette Kramer, editor with PricewaterhouseCoopers. "We found Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice to provide that type of information."
Excerpted articles will appear in Executive Digest for one month and will then be available in a searchable archive for an additional five months. A live e-mail will also be available to the website of Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice, which is currently under construction.
