Baylor to Host Three Volleyball Camps This Summer

WACO, Texas -- Baylor University women's volleyball head coach, Brian Hosfeld, will hold three volleyball camps July 30-Aug. 2, Aug. 2-5 and Aug. 5-8.
The camp, which will feature instruction from top college, club and high school coaches experienced in high levels of competition, is open to girls ages 10-18.
Each teaching session will deal with various aspects of the game of volleyball and will focus on individual and team improvement. Camps I and III will cater to the individual needs of setters on all levels in addition to improving skills.
Camp II will offer a great environment for individuals and teams. The camp will combine individual training with team concepts and will cover hitting, passing, blocking, serving and digging along with other helpful techniques.
Participants can expect each day to be filled with instruction and practice. Morning activities conducted by Hosfeld will include instruction and practice of individual skills. Afternoon sessions will focus on skill practice and competition, team skills and concepts followed by tournament play. Evening practices will include skills practice and competition, special training sessions, question and answer periods, individual evaluations and recreational swimming.
Campers will receive a Baylor volleyball camp T-shirt, Mikasa camp volleyball, Asics athletic socks, Asics water bottle, tips for college bound campers and mental skills development.
The registration fee of $295 includes housing and meals in Baylor dormitories. The fee for commuters is $225.
