Creative Problem-Solving Camp Scheduled for June 8-12

Baylor University's Center for Learning Abilities and Talent Development will hold its annual Creative Problem-Solving Camp from June 8-12 at the Hillcrest Professional Development School. The camp is open to gifted students entering kindergarten through third grade.
The interdisciplinary summer program will focus on the theme "Explorations," and participants will work together to build a space station with unique characteristics. Students will learn about rocketry, communication systems and survival in a gravity-free environment and also will conduct scientific experiments.
The cost to attend the camp, which runs from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. each day, is $130 with a $20 registration fee. For registration information, call 710-6616.
