WACO, Texas (Feb. 27, 2020) – Baylor University’s Executive MBA Program is now offering a new Graduate Certificate in Healthcare Innovation and Management.

The certificate is offered in Dallas and Austin.

A Healthcare Innovation and Management Certificate is designed to enable professionals to develop business acumen specific to the healthcare industry in a reduced timeframe (in most cases, less than a year) without committing to a complete master’s degree.

“By building a small community of experts within Austin and Dallas who are learning innovative new ideas and concepts to take back to their teams, we can help transform the healthcare industry,” said Stacy McCracken, director of the Executive MBA Program – Austin.

The certificate was developed for high-performing healthcare leaders, with a minimum of five years of professional experience in the industry, who are seeking to enhance their business knowledge to drive positive change. The program will also consider professionals who are interested in transferring to the healthcare industry.

“Students who complete the program will understand how policy and law impacts the American healthcare system, financial factors impacting healthcare organizations, economic models and considerations in a variety of healthcare settings, technology and innovation’s application in healthcare,” said Sharon Mawet, director of the Executive EMBA Program – Dallas.

Prospective candidates can learn more about the program by visiting the Baylor Executive MBA website.
