Baylor University Makes New Changes To Holiday Hours
Baylor University facilities will vary their usual hours during the Christmas holidays. All university offices and facilities will be closed Dec. 24 through Jan. 2.
Moody Memorial Library and Jesse H. Jones Library began holiday hours on Dec. 15. The libraries will open from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and will be closed on Saturday and Sunday throughout the break, excluding Dec. 28-30 when the libraries will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Moody and Jones Libraries will be closed Dec. 24-27. The libraries will resume normal hours of operation on Monday, Jan. 10. Armstrong Browning Library will be closed Dec. 24 through Jan. 2, and will open Monday, Jan. 3.
The Law Library will be closed from Dec. 18-19, Dec. 23-27 and Dec. 31-Jan. 1. The library will be open from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Dec. 17, 8 a.m. to 5 pm. Dec. 20-22 and Dec. 28-30, and 1 p.m. to midnight Jan. 2. The library will resume normal hours of operation on Jan. 3.
Baylor residence halls closed at 6 p.m. Dec. 16 and will re-open at 3 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 3 for sorority rush. Residence halls will open for the spring semester at 8 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 5.
The Bill Daniel Student Center will be closed Dec. 24-26 and Jan. 1-2. Hours of operation will vary throughout the holidays starting Dec. 10 and ending Jan. 16.
The McLane Student Life Center (SLC) will start holiday hours on Dec. 17. Facilities will be closed Dec. 20 and then from Dec. 23 through Jan. 2. The SLC will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Dec. 17, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Dec. 18, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Dec. 20-22 and Jan. 3-7. The SLC will also be open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Jan. 8 and 4 p.m. to midnight Jan. 9. Normal hours will resume Monday, Jan. 10.
The Baylor University Pharmacy will close at 5 p.m. Friday, Dec. 17, and re-open at 8 a.m. Monday, Jan. 3.
The Baylor Bookstore will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Dec. 18, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Dec. 20-22, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 23, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 27-30. The bookstore will be closed Sunday, Dec. 19, Dec. 24-26, and Dec. 31 to Jan. 2. The bookstore will resume regular hours on Jan. 17 after observing extended hours during the first week of classes.
Weithorn Visitor's Center will be closed from Dec. 24 through Jan. 2. The visitor's center will resume normal hours on Monday, Jan. 3.
The Mayborn Museum Complex will be open throughout the holidays, closed only on Christmas and New Year's Day.
