Thanksgiving Holiday Closures

WACO, Texas (Nov. 25, 2019) – In observance of Thanksgiving, Baylor University administrative offices will be closed, and no classes will be held Wednesday, Nov. 27 through Friday, Nov. 29.

The following is a list of university facility hours and closures for the Thanksgiving holiday.

Residence Halls

Residence halls will remain open over Thanksgiving break. Front desk services will be limited.

Dining Areas

Residence halls

• The Penland Crossroads, Brooks Great Hall, East Village Dining Commons and Memorial Dining will be open from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 26, and will be closed from Wednesday, Nov. 27, to Sunday, Nov. 30.
• Regular hours for all dining halls will resume Monday, Dec. 1.
• The McMullen-Connally Faculty Center will be open from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 26, and will be closed Wednesday, Nov. 27, to Sunday, Nov. 30.

Other dining options

• The SUB Food Court will be open from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 26. The SUB convenience store will be open from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. They will both be closed Wednesday, Nov. 27, through Sunday, Nov. 30.
• Panda Express will be open from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 26. It will be closed from Wednesday, Nov. 27, to Saturday, Nov. 30. It will be open from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 30.
• Freshii will be closed Tuesday, Nov. 26, through Sunday, Dec. 1.
• The Starbucks in the Baylor Sciences Building will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 26, and will be closed from Wednesday, Nov. 27, to Sunday, Dec. 1.
• The Moe’s and Which Wich in the Baylor Sciences Building will be open from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 26, and will be closed from Wednesday, Nov. 27, to Sunday, Dec. 1.
• Au Bon Pain in the Paul L. Foster Campus for Business and Innovation will be open from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 26, and will be closed from Wednesday, Nov. 27, to Sunday, Dec. 1.
• The Starbucks in Moody Library will be open from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 26, and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 26, to Saturday, Nov. 30. It will be open from 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 1., to 1 a.m. Monday, Dec. 2.
• The P.O.D. at Penland will be open from noon to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 26, and 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 26. It will be open from 2 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 28, and from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, Nov. 29, and Saturday, Nov. 30. It will be open from noon to 9 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 1.
• The Law School Café and the Terrace Café at Clifton Robinson Tower will be open from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 26. The Law School Café will be open from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 27. They will both be closed from Thursday, Nov. 28, to Sunday, Nov. 30.
• East Village Bakery will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 26, and will be closed from Wednesday, Nov. 27, to Sunday, Nov. 30.

Libraries and Study Areas

• The Central Libraries will be open from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 27, and will be closed Thursday, Nov. 28, to Saturday, Nov. 30. They will be open from 1 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 1, to 1 a.m. Monday, Dec. 2.
• The Baylor Sciences Building will close at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 26, and will be closed Wednesday, Nov. 27, to Saturday, Nov. 29.
• Armstrong Browning Library will be closed Wednesday, Nov. 27, to Friday, Nov. 29.
• The W.R. Poage Library will be closed Wednesday, Nov. 27, to Sunday, Dec. 1.

Recreation

• The McLane Student Life Center will be closed Wednesday, Nov. 27, to Saturday, Nov. 30. The SLC will be open from 4 to 10 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 1.
• The marina will remain closed for the fall semester.
• The Mayborn Museum Complex will be closed Thursday, Nov. 28.

Campus Resources

• The Bill Daniel Student Union Building (SUB) will be closed at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 26. It will reopen Monday, Dec. 2.
• The Baylor Bookstore will be open from 7:45 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 26. It will be closed Wednesday, Nov. 27, to Sunday, Dec. 1.
• The Baylor Mail Center will be closed Wednesday, Nov. 27, to Saturday, Nov. 30.
• The Baylor Health Center Clinic and Pharmacy will be closed Wednesday, Nov. 27, to Sunday, Nov. 30.
