Dr. Liu Jian to Speak on China Feb. 19

Dr. Liu Jian, professor of French, Italian and Chinese in the department of modern foreign languages at Baylor University, will speak at 4 p.m. Thursday in Room 201 of the W.R. Poage Legislative Library Center, as part of the Council for International Education's series, "All the News That's Fit to Discuss!"
His speech is titled, "China, the Old and the New." A special foreign film series is also being held in conjunction with the lecture series. At 7 p.m. Friday "The Battle Of Algiers" will be shown in Room 101 of the Castellaw Communications Center. The film and lecture are free and open to the public.
