Linda Adams to Speak On Prospect of Peace in Middle East

February 9, 1998

Dr. Linda Adams, associate professor of political science, will speak on "Prospects for the Middle East: Peace or Conflict" at 4 p.m. Thursday in Poage 201 in the Poage Library. The speech is the third in a series for the Council for International Education.
Adams will speak on the peace process between the Israelis and Palestinians. She will address United States efforts to keep the peace process going and specifically target the policies toward Iraq. "If we're bombing Iraq next week, the speech could be very interesting," Adams said.
All faculty and students are invited to the free lecture. For more information contact Dr. Joan Supplee, associate professor of history, at 710-6294.
