Phone System Outage – Email Inquiries to Admissions, Financial Aid, Cashiers Office

WACO, Texas (May 30, 2019) - Overnight, Baylor University experienced a lightning strike that damaged equipment that runs the University’s phone system. The majority of the system has been restored with backup equipment.

However, around 20% of the phones are still not operational, including those in the offices of Financial Aid, Cashiers Office and Admissions. Until those lines are restored, please reach out to these offices by email:

Replacement equipment to repair the remaining phones has been ordered. We expect to have all phones operational tomorrow (Friday) morning.
